You can make a difference
We'll be knocking on the doors of voters who lean Democratic to encourage them to vote and to provide them with information about candidates. As a canvasser, you'll be paired with another volunteer, and you'll receive trainiing and support. You'll have some campaign literature to leave with voters or at the doors for those folks who are not home.

Accountability: Commissioner Zoller leads move to shut Klickitat County Jail
A 2-1 vote on Friday afternoon, March 29, the Klickitat County Commissioners decided to shut down the Klickitat County Jail. The county will enter an agreement for its inmates to be housed at the Northern Oregon Regional Correctional Facility (NORCOR) in The Dalles, Oregon.The target date for this transition is April 12.
